LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA, UNITED STATES, October 8, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — ReMo Homes brought its “Rockets to Residences” vision to the California Energy Commission’s (CEC) 2026 EPIC Symposium last month, showcasing its SupReMo™ modular home model. The SupReMo model was on display throughout the event, demonstrating how the company is bringing aerospace technology to advanced modular manufacturing and creating solutions that support California’s housing affordability, energy, and climate goals.

The CEC’s EPIC Symposium brought together innovators, governor’s appointees, elected officials, researchers and other stakeholders focused on developing and deploying technologies that can help California achieve a cleaner, more resilient energy future. For ReMo Homes, the event provided an important opportunity to connect the company’s modular housing approach with the state’s broader goals for energy efficiency, carbon neutrality, wildfire resilience and housing affordability.

“We were incredibly encouraged by the response to SupReMo at the EPIC Symposium,” said Vamsi Kumar Kotla, chief executive officer at ReMo Homes. “We had the opportunity to host CEC and California Public Utilities Commission leadership, Deputy Cabinet Secretary Trey Reffett and other elected officials and VIPs. We received tremendous support and valuable feedback and will be taking those conversations and insights back to Los Angeles as we continue working to scale housing solutions.”

The SupReMo model is designed to bring greater standardization and efficiency to the process of designing, engineering, permitting and manufacturing modular homes. By combining a repeatable housing system with advanced manufacturing, ReMo Homes is working to address some of the challenges that have made it difficult to deliver high-performance housing quickly and at scale.

The company sees the opportunity to scale SupReMo beyond individual projects and demonstrate how industrialized housing can move the needle for meeting California’s housing shortages.

“Our goal is bigger than building individual homes,” said Ryan Blowers, chief technology officer at ReMo Homes. “In a place where we mass manufacture rockets, we can certainly mass manufacture resilient and affordable housing for all Californians.”

ReMo Homes is seeking partnerships with organizations that share its vision, particularly those working to rebuild after wildfire events and expand workforce housing and energy-efficient homes throughout California. The company welcomes conversations with developers, housing organizations, workforce housing providers, public agencies, investors, manufacturers and other partners interested in scaling energy-efficient, resilient modular housing.
