Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s)—the world’s preeminent total beverage distributor—today announced the successful closing of its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Eagle Rock Distributing Co.’s (Eagle Rock) Colorado operations, a leading total beverage distributor in Colorado.
The transaction presents an exciting opportunity to distribute Anheuser-Busch’s full product portfolio currently sold in Colorado—from its industry-leading beer brands, including Michelob ULTRA, Busch Light, Budweiser, and Bud Light, to its fast-growing hard beverages, including Cutwater Spirits, NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer, and BeatBox Beverages, to its new energy drink line, Phorm Energy—along with Tilray Brands, Talking Rain, AriZona® Beverages, Novamex, Essentia Water, Station 26 Brewing Co., Happy Dad, Nestle, and more.

To support the continued growth of the Colorado business, Jeffrey Gerali has been appointed Senior Vice President, General Manager, Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company of Colorado, reporting to Mark Chaplin, President, Commercial Sales, Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits. Gerali joins Southern Glazer’s from Anheuser-Busch, where he most recently served as Senior Commercial Director. Earlier in his career, he held sales leadership positions with PepsiCo.
Also joining the Colorado leadership team, Jason Charboneau has been appointed Senior Vice President, Sales, Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company of Colorado, reporting to Gerali. Charboneau most recently served as Senior Vice President, Beer & Non-Alcoholic at Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company of Nevada, following a series of commercial strategy and sales leadership roles throughout his nearly 20-year career with the Company.

It also strengthens Southern Glazer’s route-to-market capabilities throughout Colorado, providing customers with an expanded portfolio of top brands and greater access across the state.
Southern Glazer’s is continuing to operate out of the company’s existing facilities and will immediately begin distributing supplier products across the Colorado markets currently serviced by this operation.
